Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Cochin. Local Sightseeing in Cochin.
Arrive at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our driver/representative. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kochi. After Freshen up, Visit Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Saturdays & Jewish holidays), St. Francis church, Santa Cruz basilica (15 km), Chinese Fishing Nets as time permits It is recommended to enjoy the picturesque sunset at Beach. Spend the rest of the time by indulging in a shopping spree at the Lulu International Shopping Mall. Overnight stay in Kochi
Day 2
Kochi to Munnar via Athirapally falls. En-route visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls.
Have your breakfast in the morning and start early to visit Athirapally Falls - largest waterfall in Kerala. Also called as Bahubali Waterfall, this 80 ft high and 330 ft wide marvel is the largest waterfall in Kerala. You need to climb up & down for the best views( Not advisable for small children & older people) Afterwards, start your journey towards Munnar. We will take a short stopover at the cascading 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall & Valara Waterfall. Upon reaching, check in to the hotel and rest for the day or spend the rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3
Local Sightseeing in Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar
Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar. Have your breakfast & get ready for the day. We will start by visiting the Eravikulam National Park ( National Park is closed from 21st Jan to 15th April) which is a natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat. After having lunch in Munnar , we will visit the Tea museum to get an insight into the history of tea plantations and processing from ancient times till today. Afterwards, we will stop at Photo point & drive through the scenic tea plantations to visit the Mattupetty Dam backed with green rolling hills. In the evening, opt for a traditional dance performance at the Thirumeny Cultural Centre, Munnar (Timings - 5 to 7pm) Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4
Munnar to Alleppey. Enjoy the serene backwaters.
Post breakfast in the morning, we will drive to another exciting place in Kerala to enjoy the scenic beauty of the backwaters—Alleppey, the Venice of the East Endowed with diverse water bodies, intricate inland waterways, labyrinths of rivulets, expansive stretches of green paddy fields, lines of coconut palms amidst the backwaters will make you fall in love with Alleppey. Upon reaching Alleppey, board your hotel/houseboat. Enjoy a beautiful evening by spending some leisure time by the backwaters watching a sunset by opting a boat/Shikara Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 5
Departure. Alleppey to Kochi
Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to board your return transfers to Cochin. Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey. (Your departure flight/ train should be after 1 pm). Depart with a bag of happy memories.
