Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Cochin. Local sightseeing of Kochi
Arrive at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our driver/representative. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kochi.After Freshen up, Visit Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Saturdays & Jewish holidays), St. Francis church, Santa Cruz basilica, Chinese Fishing Nets as time permits It is recommended to enjoy the picturesque sunset at Beach. Overnight stay in Kochi.
Day 2
Kochi to Munnar Transfer. En-route visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls.
Wake up to a beautiful morning & start your journey towards Munnar - a popular hill station in Kerala. On the way, we will take a stopover at the cascading 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall & Valara waterfall. You can visit Spice Plantation/Garden aswell Reach your hotel in Munnar, check in and call it a day.
Day 3
Local Sightseeing In Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar
Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar. Have your breakfast & get ready for the day. We will start by visiting the Eravikulam National Park ( National Park is closed from 21st Jan to 15th April) which is a natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat. After having lunch in Munnar, we will visit the Tea museum to get an insight into the history of tea plantations and processing from ancient times till today. Afterwards, we will stop at Photo point & drive through the scenic tea plantations to visit the Mattupetty Dam backed with green rolling hills. Later, we will cover Echo point, Kundala Lake and spend some time in Blossoms Hydel Park (if time permits) before coming back to hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4
Munnar to Thekkady. Enjoy a cultural show.
Post breakfast in the morning, board your transfers to Thekkady.Enjoy a 3 hr road journey to Thekkady through the western ghats. Reach Thekkady, check in to the hotel and head out for sightseeing. We will visit the picturesque Periyar Lake, located in the middle of Periyar National Park which is also a Tiger Reserve. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dance performance at the Kadathanadan Kalari Center Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5
Thekkady to Alleppey. Enjoy the serene backwaters.
Post breakfast in the morning, get ready and board your transfers. Enjoy your 4–5-hour road drive through the Western Ghats of Kerala to Alleppey. Upon reaching Alleppey, board your houseboat/ hotel. Enjoy a beautiful evening by spending some leisure time by the backwaters watching a sunset by opting a boat/Shikara Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 6
Departure. Alleppey to Kochi
Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to board your return transfers to Cochin. Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey. (Your departure flight/ train should be after 1 pm). Depart with a bag of happy memories.
