Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Cochin. Transfer to Munnar.
Arrive at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our driver/representative. Get ready to board your transfers to Munnar - a popular hill station in Kerala. On the way, we will take a short stopover at the cascading 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfalls & Valara Falls Reach Munnar, check in to the hotel and call it a day. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2
Local Sightseeing in Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar
Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar. Have your breakfast & get ready for the day. We will start by visiting the Eravikulam National Park ( National Park is closed from 21st Jan to 15th April) which is a natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat. After having lunch in Munnar , we will visit the Tea museum to get an insight into the history of tea plantations and processing from ancient times till today. Afterwards, we will stop at Photo point,Echo point & drive through the scenic tea plantations to visit the Mattupetty Dam backed with green rolling hills. In the evening, opt for a traditional dance performance at the Thirumeny Cultural Centre, Munnar (Timings - 5 to 7pm) Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar to Alleppey. Enjoy the serene backwaters
Post breakfast in the morning, we will drive to another exciting place in Kerala to enjoy the scenic beauty of the backwaters—Alleppey, the Venice of the East Endowed with diverse water bodies, intricate inland waterways, labyrinths of rivulets, expansive stretches of green paddy fields, lines of coconut palms amidst the backwaters will make you fall in love with Alleppey. Upon reaching Alleppey, check in your hotel/houseboat. Enjoy a beautiful evening by spending some leisure time by the backwaters watching a sunset by opting a boat/Shikara Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 4
Alleppey to Kovalam via Jatayu Earth's Center. Overnight Stay in Kovalam
After your breakfast in the morning, get ready to board your transfers to Kovalam. Enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour road journey along the Western Ghats to Kovalam. Arrive at Jatayu Earth Centre. Explore the Jatayu sculpture -world's largest bird sculpture, Adventure Park & Cable Car Ride. Arrive at Kov.alam & check in into your hotel Spend rest of the evening at Kovalam Beach & watch a beautiful sunset. Return back to the hotel for some rest. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 5
Trivandrum Sightseeing. Overnight stay in Kovalam
After having your breakfast in the hotel, get ready to start your day. Thiruvananthapuram offers plenty of its own to reward travelers who stay. From South Indian cuisine and a sophisticated art scene to architectural treasures and historic landmarks, there’s so much to experience in Kerala’s capital. Visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple - this is 16th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is the most impressive landmark of the city. Visit Trivandrum Zoo, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum (Closed on Mondays, Wednesday, Govt Holidays, Visiting time :1.00 PM to 4.45 PM), Science and technology museum (Closed on Mondays) etc. In evening ,you can visit the Kovalam Lighthouse from where you can watch the vast ocean and the beautiful coastline & indulge in water sports activities at the beach Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 6
Departure. Kovalam to Trivandrum.
Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to board your transfers. Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at Trivandrum Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with a bag of happy memories.
